“I just bought a garmin mini 2 as a gift for my father in law and holy crap is it sleek.”
“The picture occasionally has a thin band of the "apocalyptic" coloring, but it just flashes before it corrects itself. Regardless, it's better than the entire picture being "apocalyptic" 24/7.”
“My mini 2 works great. Only issue I have is glare from the windshield, which I’m sure is present on all dash cams. I installed a polarizing filter, which worked great.”
“I have two- front and rear, never gone for the subscription. I like them.”
“it's taking 2-3 minutes for it to boot up. The LED is blinking green for a good while leaving the neighbourhood before it goes steady red and actually starts recording.”
“I had almost the same experience with Garmin and it killed my trust in them for dash cams. I switched to a Viofo A119 Mini 2 and it’s been way more reliable so far.”
“I just did this and it fixed the cam. Pry the back off towards the lower left of the Cam with a small thin screw driver or spudger rotating it to release the back off the small retainers that hold it in.”
“I have the a Garmin DashCam Mini 2 for a week now, so far no problems.”
“The Garmin mini dash cam sucks. I wish I would’ve seen this before I ever bought the thing. Even on high sensitivity it doesn’t capture hardly anything. Heavy traffic nothing sudden stops nothing.”

“I was able to get the back cover off relatively easily and tightened all the screws, and at least for now the image is clear again!”
“I have Mini2 in each of our cars, very happy with them.”

“I have a garmin mini 2 . It’s straight ASS and mine is defective after a year of usage. I have no recommendations except for DONT BUY IT. Sincerely, someone who spent $109 for it and cant get a refund.”
