Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds

Based on 130 comments across 5 communities
TL;DR
Owners are nearly unanimous that the noise cancellation is the best they've ever heard, paired with rich, immersive sound and a comfortable, secure fit. The recurring downsides are reliability problems: static or crackling in the buds, Bluetooth dropouts, and a buggy app, with some buyers going through multiple replacements. A bass-heavy stock tuning, short battery life, and a weak call mic round out a brilliant-but-uneven pick.

55% of 130 verified owners recommend the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds.

They’re my instant new favorite. I’ve never had ear buds that fit more securely without discomfort, the ANC really is amazing, and the sound quality is top-shelf.

I wish Bose would fix the microphone during calls most people tell me they hear excessive noise when I am on a call if I am in a noisy environment

Its such a shame they didn't integrate Find My for iPhones and the Android equivalent

Really NOT happy with these little bastards

These Gen 2s hit a home run. They are phenomenal for ANC. Music quality is superb.

The biggest downside not mentioned is the wingtips easily slide around, so many times I find my QC earbuds never charging

Bose Ultra earbuds are also a great pick, but I would say not worth the extra money over the AirPods.

Currently my best and most favorite earbuds. I love it. Love the ANC, and the bass sounds as good as my Jabra 75t.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

Bose keeps cranking out terrible products. It is just sad.

Pretty impressed so far.

I don't really see anything better. The sound of the 1st gen is fuller than this one

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

6 hours battery life is joke

Never wear them in the bathroom as they CAN fall out ! And I find the touch controls a bit TOO sensitive!

My advice: BUY BUY BUY

The QC Ultra have a horrible noise floor with a very audible hiss or white noise one low volumes with ANC turned on, making them impossible for listening to an audio book

the only earphones I can use is the Bose Ultra Quietcomfort Earbuds. They come with three sizes of ear tips; their smallest I still find uncomfortable if I’m wearing for more than two hours, so I also bought their alternate sizes kit with an even smaller ear tip that fits perfectly.

I have them along with the Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds. Bose still leads by a good margin with ANC but the general interactions (like touch controls and app) with the GBP3 is better by a lot

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

I had 3 previous one from bose absolutely waste of money. Noise reduction was okay, call quality was completely mess

Did a test today of real and simulated noise and the Bose truly has class leading ANC, no question about that. I'm giving up on the Bose because whilst they are the best with ANC, as a daily driver, they're not for me.

THE DIFFERENCE IN THE MIC SOUND QUALITY IS AMAZING!

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

The QC3 I had was trash. Bluetooth continuously drop out, app is crap too.

YouTube▼ don’t recommend

WHY WOULD YOU MAKE THEM TURN OFF AFTER SOMEONE STOPS MOVING?

YouTube▲ recommend

Just got my QC Ultra today let’s go!

Have gone from Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds to the AZ100's and the sound quality knocks them out of the park. ANC Bose has a slight edge

Practical notes owners raise — setup, wiring, and quirks. They don't say whether the person likes the product, so they're not counted in the score, but they inform the pros, cons, and who it's for.

Redditⓘ good to know

ANC and sound quality are just ok and considerably inferior compared to my Bose QuietComfort Ultra earbuds, but the case of the Bose is huge so I only use those in the gym

Bose QuietComfort Ultra Earbuds Aware Mode Talking Experience is pretty good, maybe because they licensed Apple's Patent to help reduce the occlusion effect.

Redditⓘ good to know

They sound so much more detailed than Bose Quiet Comfort Ultra Earbuds at less than half the cost.

Redditⓘ good to know

They offer the best ANC ever - it's like having your own personal sound bubble. They're also super comfy, really soft and lightweight, making them perfect for long listening sessions. The immersive audio with spatial audio is cool, though it doesn't always work perfectly. However, the battery life could be better, only lasting 6 hours with ANC on, and someti

I have them now for 4 months and although the first month i had to reset the whole bluetooth profile once, i didn't have any issues afterwards. So maybe there was a coruption of the bluetooth profile.

connectivity issues are only because of the app. Delete it and voila, no connectivity issues anymore
