Absolutely love it! Has good suction power and mopping abilities. Usually have to run it 2x so it goes both horizontally and vertically in the room to get a cleanly mopped floor.

I have 3 of this unit. 2 of which are standard and 1 of which is autofill and drain. The standard units have worked flawlessly. I am on my third autofill and drain since release.

The frustrating thing about the S8 Max V Ultra is that the app will not let me name any rooms. It just assigned names that are not correct and there is no option to change the name.

This is the worst robot vacuume I've ever owned. It gets stuck on every single thing and finds ANYTHING it can to suck up and get disabled. It hasn't run a full cycle in months because of that.

I’d say the only downside is it doesn’t have the top of the line obstacle avoidance and will plow over cords, but it still recognizes most objects very well and its vacuuming and mopping is excellent.

It also delivers good overall performance across a range of surface types and offers a huge variety of options to customize its cleaning behavior to your exact specifications.

As a user for 6months I think it's overrated . Vac is decent but mop will left cornering dirt gather more over time and need manual clean.

Everything the S7 couldn’t do, this does all of them and even better. The scanning is even more precise, the corner cleaning is awesome where it’s not missing stuff in my kitchen to clean.

I just got mine yesterday and already working with support because it is failing to dock right out of the box. So for the cost I am extremely unhappy with it just yet.

So far this thing has been pretty awesome. Let it run a couple of times to do the mapping and the AI has detected my pets, multiple cables, cat toys on the ground, and somehow it knows my furniture

I thought the camera would help it identify obstacles like cables but it’s constantly getting jammed on those and socks and things… I have to clean up before I run it so can’t schedule cleanings.

I returned mine and bought a like new Q Revo on Amazon for $600 and saved $1,200. Sure, the S8 MaxV has a camera, much better obstacle avoidance, and a flex arm (which didn’t work), but to me that just wasn’t worth $1,800.

It stops at random locations and says it is trapped in the middle of an open floor, or claims to have a low battery than will go on for hours after being. restarted

My S8 Max V Ultra has been nothing short of amazing. Yes there is some maintenance to it, but that is the era of robot tech we are in - none are maintenance free.

my floors are pretty spotless, after just one round with s8 maxv ultra. So it’s not that big of a difference. I think for an everyday user it’s very very good. One thing I don’t like is its object avoidance. It’s mediocre at best.

I have both. The 10r is much easier to clean/maintain. Overall cleaning performance? Hard to say, both do the job.

I have the S8 MaxV Ultra in a 1600 sq ft house with a Great Pyrenees and a husky it will vacuum the entire house in one go without needing to empty the Dustbin.

I even pre-vacuumed the floors to make sure there was nothing sharp that could get stuck in the vacuum. Despite all that, it still left scratches during vacuuming.

I have one. It’s good. But newer models do better jobs now. I wouldn’t recommend it with newer options.

I've been really happy with my S8 MaxV Ultra, had it probably around two years now with daily mop and vacuum of the whole house. Never had any issues with it

I sold the Max V S8. Ultra, and I bought the 10R. I love the ten r.It blows away the max fee.S eight ultra, the spinning mops are so much better and the no tangle main mop is even better less hands on

Over hyped but does most floors clean and mop... I use it but also do some manyal cleaning...

It is worth literally every penny. It feels like I hired my own personal private vacuumer who I schedule exactly when and where I want, and it is almost completely self sufficient. I am a convert forever.

I got 18 months of use before it broke. The repair center broke the chassis during repair and sent it back to me in broken condition
