Dell S2722QC

Based on 95 comments across 2 communities
TL;DR
A go-to affordable 4K work monitor: sharp text, reliable single-cable USB-C with laptop charging, and strong value. Contrast and blacks are merely okay (no IPS Black), and viewing angles draw occasional mild gripes.

This Dell S2722QC 27-inch 4k display is utterly fantastic for the price I got on Amazon ($279).

the one thing I don't like is that it has a fair amount of IPS glow, that's noticeable when watching movies in the dark.

Dell S2722QC (27”, 4K) using USB-C on the iPad Pro M4 (my only computer). Works great thanks to Stage Manager. However, this Dell is only windows compatible so I can’t update its firmware.

Amazon has a great price on the Dell S2722QC ($379) 4k, IPS, 60w charging via USB C. Happy with the purchase, looks great. Viewing angle is a little bad but when I’m working I don’t notice too much that I’m not looked my at an apple screen.

I got this recently and it’s pretty good. It has usb-c, so you can charge your laptop or phone with it. It also has portrait mode. Only negative is that it’s very heavy.

Dell S2722QC. Great for productivity work and great value for the price. Not stunning, but better than expected and more than good enough to tide one over until you can get one of the Apple monitors.

Main monitor is a Dell U2723QE and the side monitor is a Dell S2722QC. The main monitor is able to charge the Macbook which is nice for cable management. I have no complaints.

same here, the 4K [S2722QC](https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-27-4k-uhd-usb-c-monitor-s2722qc/apd/210-bccw/monitors-monitor-accessories) monitor is retailing at almost the same price here in Australia.

I just use the Dell S2722QC. It’s a dream monitor for clarity and viewing angles without having fork out big bucks for the Ultrasharp range. The monitor has USB C for video and charging your laptop.

The Dell S2722QC I use at the office connected to a MBP 14 M1 does occasionally have some minor flicker with VRR enabled. Having experienced the horrors of VA flicker in the past though, this one is quite mild.

I use my MacBook Pro 15” 2017 with Dell S2722QC (and playing some Dota2, CSGO) as well, on just usb-c cable! Recommended

I got the Dell s2722qc off rtings' recommendation for best office monitor. Would recommend checking out the reviews there to see what fits your needs

If you want a budget monitor, I received Dell S2722QC and it is quite decent for the price. It is a 4K 27" monitor with 163ppi pixel density.

went for a used 220 dollar Dell S2722QC instead... 1. I think dell has better quality 2. adjustments swivels etc

Dell S2722QC is pretty decent, not the most colour accurate and for some reason VRR doesn’t work but it is pretty bright and sharp, and cheap

I have a Dell S2722QC, great affordable 4K monitor for productivity work but does 65w USB-C PD charging and connects easily to any Windows laptop or MacBook with a USB-C port. 4K video out and charging in one neat cable. Use it everyday with my 2021 MBP 14in.

I use my DELL S2722QC with my Macbook Air, scaling works very well and I'm happy with the monitor.

S2722QC is a first and foremost an office monitor; it has relatively good contrast (for an ips), and low-blue-light backlight, but has awful gamma and unimpressive color accuracy (lacks sRGB mode, colors are oversaturated).

I mainly do productivity work and was very happy with the Dell - S2722QC 27.0" 4K IPS. It was priced right ($300-400), text was sharp, scaling worked well, it had one cable support with good enough hub capability. I would definitely recommend for anyone wanting a budget 4K monitor.

I have a Dell S2722QC, 4K for under £300. The sound is terrible, but I didn't buy it for that and just don't play anything on it.

I have a similar S2722QC. It’s fine but had I thought about it a little longer I would have gone with a 1440 one instead.

The dell s2722qc actually does 65w which is plenty for my m1 pro 14
