the 5KX lacks a lume pip on the rotating bezel, which makes the 5KX a fashion watch in my book.

They're all great watches. I saw two posts above me that his came with a broken spring bar. This is a serious issue, and I'd recommend changing out the stock spring bars.

Mine keeps great time. It will hold close to the regular time for a couple of days, most it's been off is maybe 5 seconds slower but lately much better.

Knowing it was a fashion downgrade, even if only slight, makes me very much dislike it.

the strap is comfortable but agree it looks a bit cheap and certainly it is not heavy. I also don't like that it does not taper at all at the clasp.

Worked for me, my first automatic aside from a 25 year old Swatch (which still runs nicely). First Seiko , love it.

I like the Invicta in this comparison I had both and ended up selling the Seiko .

I will have to side with 5kx between the too. original design better reputation in house movement i don't like that the invicta has a "ghost date"

I find the 42mm SKX/5KX case fits my 7-3/8' wrist really well hence why I'll soon have 4 with this same case.

The Seiko looks cheap. My vote was for Invicta .

The bracelet feels quite comfortable and there are no surprises if you've worn similar watches...but it is definitely on the cheap side, with hollow end links and a thin pressed clasp. I don't think it feels heavy on the wrist

I have that Seiko case on one of my builds and on a NATO it's like it's not even there. So comfortable.

The Seiko looks better - however I would not get either, I would look for something else with Miyota 9xxx and sapphire crystal.

I like both, but the Seiko would be my personal preference for the better lume and 22mm strap lug.

that seiko is….fine, whereas the Invicta is quite handsome.

Personally I’d go with the SRPD55 and it has immense opportunities for modding.

I simply love the feel of the SRPD on my wrist, it's like it was made for me.

Personally prefer the seiko . Really hard to beat in this price range!

I like the clean srpd55 plus its cheaper.

the Seiko is a better all around watch.
