The joints do look like they did not use enough solder. So I was unlucky, but from the sounds of it could well happen again! In retrospect, I should have sent it back at the first cold solder joint.

New V3 Max with Jupiter Banana keys. Love the feel of this keyboard. Using with a Macbook Pro M1 / Sonoma OS. BUT after using for about a week, the Command key is usually acting as an Option key

Only double press issues ive had were on the q3max with browns. Started with pulling apart the affected switch and increasing the pressure in the copper contact points and then never had an issue again.

I love the feel, sound, aesthetic, and PBT keys, but there's one big issue... I like being able to see the text on my keys, and the lack of shrine through makes the text invisible when it's dark.

Then after 10 seconds trying these bananas.. now i know what a tactile feedback without that annoying ping that the cherries was making everytime

I don’t even enjoy it for gaming. I set it for basic strafing and it resulted in my character standing still when I tried to switch directions.

Not my job to QA and diagnose their hardware. I will probably order a new one (price just dropped $10 !) and return this one.

I love the keyboard aside from this issue and have a k5 max I’d also ordered to try out. Might just return both and try another normal profile board.

My first “proper” mechanical keyboard. Feel so much better than my old generic gaming keyboard.

This one is a world of difference with the V3, such a nice stock sound profile.

Examining them closely, the switches this came with are the Keychron Super Banana, so that helps explain why they're bad!

I've had this Keychron V3 Max with Gateron Jupiter Banana switches for about an year now and for the most part I like it a lot. However, for the last 6 months or so some of the keys have been either failing or double pressing.

My V3 Max died 6 weeks in, Keychron offered no support, just asked me to take odd photos, then blocked my email.

V3 MAX is still amazing especially for travel and when moving around.

Typing experience is absolutely great, which makes this even more annoying, If that makes sense.

I’d considered returning it out of principle… but it seems like something that can be managed.

This is also happening to me, also brand new V3 Max. What a weird bug lol, not a good first impression at all

I’ve got both. Prefer the Q3 max any day of the week.

I bought my Keychron V3 Max about a year ago. Yesterday I noticed the LED on my right control is flickering.

V3 max felt great until it started double registering keys in a month or so. Just my two cents.

Imagine paying extra and having a bad solder joint like I did!

I paid a lot for it, it shouldn't have this.

So I was just unlucky by getting old stock.
