I just got the q1 pro tonight and I did the tape mod and added 2 layers of electrical tape and used a different keycap set and my novel key cream switches and my board still has a lot of ping.

It's near perfect, solid and heavy, clean, no weird spots on in the white finish or the case. I got the brown keychron pros stock with mine, and they definitely left something to be desired

the usb c port on my q1 pro basically broke off after some time but customer service was really nice and sent me a replacement daughter board for free, no questions asked.

I have both. So besides the 2.4 support on the max which is awesome, the Max also has a better typing feel. But I'm sure that's down to the additional layers of padding in the Max vs the Pro.

I'll probably end up using the Q1 pro for now as I already have it, I like the typing experience so far, and I like the all black color option that it had.

I remember why I lost interest in Keychron. So many problems with this along the way...from wonky stabilizers to poorly machined screws.

Definitely don't get another Q1 pro. Get the max. I feel like the Q1 pro is basically obsolete now that the max exists.

the stock keycaps have a very sculpted, finger hugging profile that I personally find too sharp for my tastes so I replaced them immediately with Cherry profile keycaps

I do like the Keychron Banana on the Q1 Pro more. I find it to be a pretty pleasant typing experience and different from my hand lubed Akko Jelly Blacks.

RTINGS— neutral

The ergonomics are mediocre as they have a tall profile and no included wrist rest, meaning you need to hold your wrists at a fairly steep angle while typing, which can cause discomfort and fatigue.

It's just this damn Q1 pro that sucks ass. I have the same issue where windows won't remove it. It's so frustrating.

I have 2 Keychrons Q1 Pro and K2 Pro. Use them both daily between my work Windows laptop and personal MacBook, switch them between both whenever I feel like a different keyboard. Typing this on K2Pro. Zero issues

I only tested it for like 1 hour but incredibly happy, though! I really don't have comparison before, I was using a mechanical keyboard from a local brand with some random switches but they feel and sound awesome!

Any other Q1 pro owners have a horrible experience with bluetooth on this thing? I can either just straight up not get it to pair, or it'll pair for like a second, then not work, or it'll connect and repeat letters likeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee or just be very delayed.

RTINGS— neutral

They provide excellent typing quality and feature a gasket-mounted design, meaning typing is more cushioned and springy-feeling than most mechanical keyboards.

I really like the look and the overall outcome, also it feels a lot better than my old Corsair K95, which was also a great keyboard to me

RTINGS▼ don’t recommend

Considerably thicker and heavier than most keyboards designed specifically for this use.

Physically it’s not large but it weighs almost 4 lbs and if you get a padded case for it it will be that much larger and heavier. I have a NuPhy Air75 low profile that I would rather take to the office.

I just got mine 2 hours ago and noticed the same, specially the right side of they keyboard is a hell, like somehow I’m not reaching enter or something lol

I bought mine a week ago and I'm having the same issue. It really sucks.

Switching between the 3 devices has been problem free and today it's just between two Macs. I've been typing on the Q1 Pro all day, pretty much non-stop with a break for lunch. Loving the experience so far, definitely no regrets.

The Q1 Pro I have is awesome with a great sound profile after adding WS Morandi switches to it but this Q1 HE sounds even better.

r/Keychron— neutral

It is very high indeed but I kind of like it. I definitely hear some hollowness with certain key presses and I don’t think it’s the switches.

RTINGS▼ don’t recommend

High profile design is uncomfortable without a wrist rest.
