other than the cable I consider it side-grade instead of upgrade

everyone raves about the bass, idk if mine are defective but the bass doesn't sound very punchy.

They're way too good for the price and i recommend it to everyone.

Mines came with a defect on the cable, and one of the sides mutes until I jiggle with the connection and it starts sounding again. A pain in the ass.

If only there's no oxidation issue it would have been great

I have them. Dont know why but bass feels a bit muddy bloated or just distorted... Im not sure why. Bass from Zero2 or Sonus feels better. Also rest of the FR seems not as clear.

The Chu2 was my first IEM. And I love them.

the moondrop chu is so quiet at these same same volume, i have to tuen the volume up to 80 to 90 percent on my phone and 32/100 on my laptop to archive the same loudness

I have it, and it's great. The sound signature is very enjoyable, not bass-heavy or treble-heavy.

I own the Chu 1 and 2, and 7hz 1 and 2. I prefer the latter one among these, essentially because the treble response is less unpleasant for me than the other three.

these have captivated me for sure. Theyre my new daily driver

I fished the Chu II out of the drawer and tried them with Amir EQ and different ones based on other measurements and I noticed that they respond well to EQ changes unlike some other IEMs i have.

The Zero:2s, the Chus, the Nuos, all of them sound too intimate and muddy with complex tracks. They don't offer a "solved" experience yet.

Chu 2 in my opinion has better detail retrieval and clarity and more base.

Audio Science Review— neutral

The Chu2 was actually okay, but I remember the fit being a little weird. The unit is small, but something about the shape of the shell didn't fit my ears, resulting in an awkward insertion depth.

bought a secund pair immediately after listening to them so I can gift them. That's how good they are.

Audio Science Review— neutral

The Chu2 sounds very sibilant out of the box to me, which is a shame since I like them a lot otherwise. Great fit and comfort for a bargain price, only shame is that they don't come with the same tips as the original Chu.

If you are sensitive to highs like me the 12.5khz peak is gonna kill you, and even if you eq it it is still going to be partially there.

YouTube▲ recommend

so the chu 2 is everything id want.

Head-Fi— neutral

you are right about it being half as loud, i need to turn up the volume about 2X to achieve the same loudness.

YouTube▲ recommend

considering the $19 price tag, the package is very impressive.

the sound is so clear and especially the snare and the bass drum kick topled with crisp high hat, worth way more than the price
