Sounds awesome, I’m sick of those digital amps with millions of presets that take hours to go through.

Got mine yesterday. Yes you can play at home at bedroom levels.

Way too much treble.

Clean channel was good. Anytime I had to do anything high gain, I plugged it into my Orange PPC 212 cab. It then came to life.

When it first arrived, I couldn’t stop playing the CLEAN channel for well over an hour!

Cleans were great, did edge of breakup stuff and pushing it with pedals well. Didn’t care for the distortion channel much at all.

I ended up having to go with the DSL20 the other two were just so damn loud they wouldn’t work in my room.

I've found an alarming amount of variance between them and bought the one that sounded the best. Oh, and the reverb is junk. Barely there when cranked up so be prepared to get a decent reverb pedal.

I had a DSL40CR and sold it in a year. The JVM is better built and will have better resale value

I always thought my DSL sounded way to bassy as well.

This is THE amp I have tried to steer newcomers to for several years now. There's really nothing it cannot do.

It’s the only tube amp I’ll ever need.
