i also noticed that it has issues with overdrive. In my case, i exp black motion artefacts on edges of objects and blurry textures when i fast moving camera in games

I went from the 1080p 144Hz VG248QE TN to this. Just great, if you have a thunderbolt work laptop, switching between two devices is ao easy. 240Hz also feels a bit smoother than 144Hz.

I had a defective Gigabyte M27Q X that I send in for repairs, now I just got a response saying they can't repair it & are offering €250 in store credit for a replacement.

I had it for a little under 2 years. I'm guessing they couldn't repair it or it wasn't worth repairing, which is a shame because I genuinely liked that monitor.

The m27q x was breath taking beautiful and I returned to VA panel all together because the colors were so much better on the IPS. You aren’t gonna find a better 27” ever for this price.

Whenever I turn on my monitor, these flickering lines appear. This only started to happen recently this year 2025 ever since I got this monitor April 2024.

The best thing about this monitor (and the others in this series) is the KVM feature. The worst is the USB PD is only 18w but it's still enough to power some laptops. Gigabyte QC is a bit questionable though.

I had one, would not recommend it. Main issue is that the pixel overdrive modes are really bad. In my experience they are only usable above 150Hz/fps and below that you get terrible overshoot in every mode.

the M27QX has best color accuracy, power consumption, and the thinnest design I like to design and move it around a lot so seemed like the best fit love mine!

I currently have a Gigabyte M27Q X which I love but unfortunately it has suddenly developed stuck pixels recently that I cannot seem to get rid of.

I got the Gigabyte M27Q-X for christmas and i can say it's really amazing. I didn't get any dead pixels, and the colours are absolutely beautiful.

Literally recieved this monitor 24 hours ago same exact issue , horizontal line just appeared on monitor out of no where today. Purchased through Amazon.

Been enjoying mine so far. I was hesitant because I've heard about Gigabytes QC with their PSUs and Mobos. But I'm glad I went with this.

I used it for about 8 months, and the rest of the panel is in mint condition with no scratches, but there is one purple stuck pixel located at the top-middle of the screen. To be honest, it’s completely unnoticeable during actual gameplay

This is my first replacement of the M27Q-X which lasted just around 4 months. My first one lasted almost a year (literally a week before the 1 year replacement warranty). It does go downhill every power cycle.

I find myself moving reading-heavy tasks over to my secondary monitor (Gigabyte M27Q-X IPS), which feels much easier on my eyes.

I think it's a keeper but im unsure of why im not so satisfied with the clear and responsiveness of my monitor.

Main problem is blacks on IPS (especially in lowly dimmed or completely dark room) and poor viewing angles. You move your head to the right side of the monitor and you start seeing the left side start glowing.

i bought a M27Q X monitor ~3 weeks ago and just a few minutes ago i got this horizontal line that stretches straight all the way from the left to right

Owner of m27qx. No issue so far. Good in everything. If u refer to rtings review it's exactly wat it is. Lightweight too.

I also chose gigabyte. The only negative that I found out is that it does not support g-sync, only FreeSync.

Minw started this last week as well. Fucking ridiculous. Sadly its been almost a year for me too so it doesn't seem like I'm getting a replacement.

I have the same panel but not the same problem as you guys have, or maybe I'm just not noticing it?

I Bought M27Q X... amazing value, and a great picture, especially if you don't want curvature and poor build quality.
