OP18K in my case is a claw grip, but only the tip of my fingers control the mouse, feels very non-ergonomic, and I have a bit of a hard time swinging that cord around

r/EndGameGear— neutral

I actually dont mind the scroll wheel tho only issue i had is when my hand got sweaty i couldnt scroll it haha my issue is on every copy i got i had to open it up and reseat switches

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I have one. Its simple and it works. What else you can ask from a mouse? I tried pulsar mice before, I had to return all of them due to scrolling wheel issues. This one just works

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I have OP1 8k v2 but after testing it went back to box. ATK F1 / Hitscan Hyperlight better mouse for me. That shape is best I have tested. Nothing special about OP1.

r/MouseReview— neutral

The clicks feel amazing and the shape is really nice, but unfortunately it's a little too small for my hands and not very comfortable for a relaxed fingertip or claw grip.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

The reason I'm using XM2 8K and OP1 8K is the fact that I don't have to worry about charging them. I swapped the cable for both of them to Midori's and they feel very great.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

OP1 8k the cable stopped working and before the cable died, I was constantly getting double clicking, sensor issues and the shell being so creaky like a cheap toy.

r/MouseReview— neutral

The front half is very narrow, and if you like that, there is not much else like that. It has near instantaneous click response. It’s light enough on the wired version, and that’s about it.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

The op18k is the better mouse, it’s built better, has better clicks (mechanical switches ftw), doesn’t need to be charged, and because of the wire it has better performance.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I completely agree on the forward side button. Too far upfront and slightly uncomfortable to reach while getting support from the rear of the hump. 18x9 hand size

r/MouseReview— neutral

Op18k is built for children. What a tiny fucking mouse lol. I bought it and gave it to a friend. I loved the build quality and it was incredibly well made and designed. Just absolutely tiny.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

to my big suprise, the first thing I noticed when using it with "spdt mode on" in a game, was the clicks actually felt like they registered earlier than what I was used to.

r/EndGameGear▼ don’t recommend

Recently bought my 1st OP1 8K v2, but I had to return it because of a scroll wheel defect. The 2nd OP1 8K v2 I bought had the RMB raised way higher than left LMB.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I really enjoy it overall but for some reason its the only mouse where I feel like I'm fighting myself to use it, whenever I glide it, it feels like im dragging my mouse

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

It's the best mouse on the market. For competitive gaming. Great design, great tech, minimalist software and cheap compared to competition and out performs "top tier mice".

r/EndGameGear▼ don’t recommend

i just unpacked a new OP1 8K V2 and left mouse button isn't working. Tried the filter but eventually realized that it is some kind of mechanical problem with the button sensor not registering the click.

r/MouseReview— neutral

My OP1 is from one of the first batches and it has quite a lot of wear, but despite that there is only a slight flex in the clicks and some fraying on the cable fabric.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

the shape is absolutely amazing for me. I love using it, it's the shape to beat for me personally. Second, the click swap feature. I absolutely love being able to swap around a bunch of clicks.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I had one for about a year and then it started disconnecting, so i asked for another cable from EGG and they sent one in a week (pretty fast) but then that cable started disconnecting after like 3 months :(

r/MouseReview— neutral

it’s slow set into the mouse meaning if scroll up you can accidentally click mouse one or two at the end of the motion. It has good steps with defined notches however.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

It's a great mouse and I'm really really happy with it. A bigger version of the mouse would definitely be nice, but I have small hands so it's a perfect size for me.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I was playing with op1 8k v2 and it bugged out and it did not register my click and then I tried to click again and it clicked and hold but I just tapped.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I really like the shape sadly I didn’t have the best experience with the build quality bc my copy developed a creak in the mb1 and it sometimes doesn’t hold the click

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I've spent more time on this mouse than my previous main (Sora 4K v1). I miss the wireless aspect, but just in a nice-to-have capacity. It absolutely does not hamper any performance the mouse has.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Yeah this is what mine does. I opened up Device manager and it refreshes itself every time the mouse stops working, hence why I think it's a cord problem.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I love the shape of Op1 dont get me wrong but its not perfect as many people want you to believe, there is room for improvement that people simply dont talk about

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I was unsure about the size difference coming from the OG XM1 but I feel like I've adapted to it well as someone with 18x9cm hands that also does relaxed claw/palm.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

my OP18k's scroll wheel is really bad lmao. It makes me jump a lot in CS accidentally, at least once a match when I'm just like walking around or something. I dont think the scroll will is that great of quality.

r/MouseReview— neutral

Yeah the scroll wheel definitely feels really heavy. I personally think it feels nice to use for general tasks, but using it for jumping would definitely be hard.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

the overall package is very good especially for the price. A company has to do things very well to best EGG. I personally think it’s very hard to beat at 8K Wired.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

the cord stopped working out of nowhere. Every now and again it just looses power and I need to fling it back and forth for it to start working again. Bought the mouse almost exactly 1 year ago, which is really soon

r/MouseReview— neutral

because shape and click latency but i dont like the shape its so narrow gives me cramps after a bit time, probably its little for me, still my fav shape is gpx

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

it's so light and buttery smooth that it feels that the cable isn't even there. I have had wireless mouses in the past (for example RAZER Viper V3) but I wouldn't change this OP1 8K for nothing else

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

i swear my purple frost is ass. The clicks are just not like what people describe, they are kinda mushy/sticky and I don’t know how to fix it.

r/MouseReview— neutral

when I got both my OP1 8k and XM2 8k I tested them in human bechmark against my Razer Viper V3 and was unable to really conclusively see a difference. I was getting about the same scores with all of them

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

with a bungee it isn’t noticeable, i’ve been using wired mice again since February of last year with the OP1 8K V1, interchangeably with wireless and I can’t say I ever switched mice due to the wire.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

8k fuks up the frames in a lot of games. Tried it anyway and it made apex / league unplayable because of choppy frames.. Useless overhype imo.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I would still say it's a really solid A tier mouse. The reason personally I wouldn't give it S tier is because the clicks could still be better and it's wired and not even a crazy light weight or anything.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

Great price, perfect shape for claw (in a lot of people’s opinion), great coating, best latency, best clicks, good weight, what isn’t there to love about it?

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Outside of the build quality, which a lot of other brands are just as good imo, it is must mid. Not to mention it doesn't have the top of the line specs and it's flagship model has a cable. It is 2026, cables are obsolete

r/MouseReview— neutral

I’ve tried the op1 many times and I just think the narrowness and length just doesn’t mix to well, but it isn’t bad. I do agree that it’s a lil overhyped

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

The shape is amazing if you like smaller mice, I personally have pretty small hands and I never felt like a mouse was quite right for me until I got this one

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

is anyone's dpi sensor inaccurate with the op18k v2. In the software, I'll apply and compare 1600 to any other mice and it feels like 800.

r/MouseReview— neutral

Over an older mouse, absolutely. My previous mice were the aerox 3 and the basilisk pro (the first one) but over a different modern mouse, no not so much

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

It’s cheaper never have to charge and performs great. The shape is gonna be narrow vs the viper and deathadder but once you get used to it it’s very maneuverable. I used to use viper v3. Same hand size too

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

my cable didn’t stop my mouse from working but it’s getting all tangled so I sent it back to RMA. Wireless is next on the list I guess…

r/MouseReview— neutral

From what I have seen so far, they are quite equal when you pre-pressure the op18k Button. But the light clicks of the superstrike feel imo just bettet

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

the OP1 8k was a nice little upgrade. Slightly lighter, better sensor, cable, feet, click feel and scroll wheel (hopefully no encoder issues in the long run) and no effing synapse running in the background!

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

The support team was absolute trash. They gave me a form for returns and they replied that replacements aren't supported in my country.

r/MouseReview— neutral

It's a little too narrow for me and i despise back humps (its sorta manageable ill give it that its the only back hump mouse i could ever use again)

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I bought one based on your review and I love it. Just spent the afternoon gaming. I do enjoy how small the mouse is. It makes fine tuned aiming so easy.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

No, I own it and it offers nothing special over my other gaming mice and I much prefer how my Feinmann feels in the hand instead.

r/MouseReview— neutral

yeah I think the only tangible advantage is the click latency improvement, I did manage to set a personal record on reaction time benchmark with it

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

The mouse also has good customer support, great coating (better than Logitech and Razer), better build quality, and hotswappable/serviceable without removing mouse skates. It's the enthusiast claw grip mouse.

r/EndGameGear▼ don’t recommend

I had to return my mouse: Endgame Gear OP1 8k. Each time, they replaced it with a new one, but the same problems persisted: mouse would automatically disconnect and reconnect, and the left mouse button would sometimes not respond in games.

r/MouseReview— neutral

Mine double clicks and / or gets stuck. Lately when I've played CS, I'll tap but I start spraying without doing anything. Sometimes I feel like it's not the right shape for me, a bit too small, despite using claw.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I use it for fingertip. It is small mouse and is very good for it. I think if you have normal sized hands, it makes for a better finger tip than claw.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I had the worst luck with this mouse. Bought it, the mouse wheel started registering in the opposite direction making it unusable. Made a warranty claim - got a new mouse. Same issue within a week. Got rid of it for another manufacturer mouse

r/MouseReview— neutral

it is that good but there is a huge false marketing about this shape, while it looks fine it's really not for med to large hands so uncomfortable.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

These are both in my top 5 for mice. But I gotta give it to the op1. Just a very solid mouse. Exceptional build quality and the shape is really good.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

the physical feel of the superstrike clicks is the best ive felt, whereas EGG clicks are some of my least favorite.

r/MouseReview— neutral

The scroll will has good steps with defined notches, however it’s for low set into the mouse meaning if I scroll up I can accidentally click nous one or two at the end of the motion. And coating of the mouse S tier .

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

i have used both the hyperlight and the op1 extensively and i can say that the op1 feels much higher quality and i prefer the shape, but that's subjective ofc. can't use the hyperlight anymore after trying the op1

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Love the tech, but the shape is really hurting my hand (20x10.5cm). I need an Ergo where my hand can actually rest.

r/MouseReview— neutral

i got one, test it, i acknowledge why is so good, throw it in the box because is small to me, i prefer the XM2, same internals, just bigger mice

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

It's exceptionally good. I'm not even sure why. But having recently switched from the Scyrox V8 (a great mouse in of itself) to the v2 and it just feels so good. Solid, great shape, great weight, just a 10/10 imo.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

unfortunately, the mouse is way too small and narrow for me. I hope they release a bigger variation next time.

r/MouseReview— neutral

It makes a pretty big difference imo. Very noticeable when your games start to run and respond like shit because they don't support 8K polling.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Wanted to love it but it's just too small for me. Used it for about an hour and now it sits collecting dust.

r/MouseReview— neutral

Op1 is much too small to claw and only works as a fingertip mouse. I much prefer the xm1 shape so I guess it depends on the size of your hands

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

Some of the best build quality on the market, good price, wide availability, modding friendly design, hotswap switches, innovation, great buttons

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I’ve been using this mouse and it’s very small for me… I have like 20cm hands I think. Looking for a new rec

r/MouseReview— neutral

my OP1 8K V1 lasted barely about 6 months (with SPDT feature) being just reliably okay, good while it lasted but it’s just as you say, they just go bad at some point. After that it’s just another good mechanical switch.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I actually just bought the OP1 8k v2 and its the best mouse ive ever used, the shape is so good and especially the coating, the coating feels so good in the hands and its really grippy even when your hands get sweaty

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

My hands hurt when trying the OP1 but I game with the XM2w 4K V2 every day and have absolutely no problems.

r/MouseReview— neutral

there are times the OP1 feels too narrow especially after not using it for a long time, but I also feel more precise due to its narrowness

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

i'm not really the biggest fan of the shape it's probably the best built mouse i've ever had, and being 50grams makes it even more impressive

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Their switches can feel wildly different, even in the same mouse. I needed 10 GX Switches (got two by RMAing my OP1 due to a warped shell and 6 by buying the switch packs) to get two that feel actually good and not like some bad, hollow sounding optical switches.

r/MouseReview— neutral

It’s an amazing shape for aiming but it’s just not the most comfortable shape in the world for me which is a higher priority these days.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

I love this shape I really like the way the front feels, very narrow and nothing is wedging itself into my fingers in an uncomfortable way.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Too narrow for me, shape is king, I decided to not jump the bandwagon and prioritize other mice!

r/MouseReview— neutral

i have one and i can say it is amazing the clicks r so fast and the shape of it is so nice! not as bulky as the gpro wireless etc etc! but the scroll wheel on this mouse is so ass. i think is the only thing that this mouse lacks

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

Go to mouse when I want to perform best. Best mouse of last year. Only complaint is slight creaking but doesn’t affect in-game performance.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

OP1 is way too small, light and pretty too narrow, even compared to a glorious mini o2. as for 4 or 8k no diff, v1 or v2, idk but in comp 1-2k is recommended and the OP1 even tho using wired i see it do macro stutter or like losing connection for a second sometimes.

r/EndGameGear— neutral

Op1 has the best shape for its just let down by production and quality checks before being sent to retailers imo from my experience

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

It's a great mouse that doesn't have annoying software and isn't likely to break on you half as often as a razer mouse. What's not to love?

r/MouseReview— neutral

when I go back to my op1 I feel like I have to be more intentional with my clicks. Not a bad thing, just something I noticed.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

Crazy price-quality ratio, excellent shape, build quality, hot-swappable switches, fastest click latency, sensor placement, decent cable.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

r/MouseReview— neutral

I found it made games lag at 8K, very bad in Fortnite for example. Even 4K was a bit suspect at times but overall fine.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

The shape is amazing and innovative. Nowadays there are more mice with a similar shape but EGG kinda came up with it and it's just really good. The build quality is really good. Amazing white coating, feels extremely solid.

all came with defects shame really its a good mouse i just wish egg cared mpre about wuality most of the time its was the clicks coming scuffed either they pinged at the lightest touch or pickup and put down or they had major switch grinding

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

its a good mouse. shape is comfortable for small/medium claw and ftip grips and qc is not perfect but they usually remedy any defects (except frosted colorways, continuing to sell thoes pieces of junk is almost inexcusable)

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

Been using the 8k for about a month. At first i thought it was just me but it seems to miss clicks even when browsing. i've tried different settings too. Also the scroll wheel is a bit too slippery for my liking. prefer a more silent click too. I will be returning it.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I love the mouse and it’s insane tech but no matter how much I practice, I can’t seem to get enough stability with it

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

it's been a month and a half since I bought this mouse, and so far it's amazing. I haven't had any problems with the scroll wheel being too small/low, barely any creaking, and the coating/grip feels the same as the first day.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I get perfect stability w/viper 8k, haste 2 8k, but occasional 4ms intervals on the op18k.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I do experience a little bit more fatigue during longer sessions at the base of my pinky with the smaller OP1 shape

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

mine has the smallest amount of pre travel on the main clicks only if I press in the middle, in front of the scroll wheel. Except that they feel just so much better than whatever switches are on the non superlight gpw and dav3

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

When I tested it myself it was actually slower than the average of mice for reaction time.

r/MouseReview— neutral

I've had an OP1 8k & OP1 and they both felt rock solid. Couldn't make the shell creak or flex no matter how much force I applied, and I had no sensor or cable issues ever instead it was the scroll wheel axis snapping in half for me on both mice.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

stock cable is *fine*, literally feels same as no cable (at least to me) technically fastest click latency really good overall latency

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I personally also feel more sluggish on the op1 8k compared to on my other lighter mice

r/MouseReview— neutral

It's an amazing mouse, tracking is godlike. The scroll wheel sucks though. I had to give up on jumping on mwheelup

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

its more then great and i really appreciate you bringing that up. Edit: this thing is so refreshingly light but i need to get used it.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

My Purple Frost was very creaky, presumably it was using the V1s internal structure.

r/MouseReview— neutral

Palm will be difficult, fingertip grip just fine. No issue with 18 cm, I was using it with 19 cm using claw grip.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

It’s a good shape, it has decent features, interchangeable switch kits and most important: It’s an original design by a real company

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

for how tiny the mice is, I didn't like the wired or wireless versions of the OP1

r/MouseReview— neutral

The mouse is small. It's not the defacto claw grip mouse for anyone with 17cm+ hands imo, which is probably most.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

Super happy with the mouse overall, love the shape with grips installed. Middle mouse started double clicking recently (2 weeks old) but updated the firmware and put the middle button multi click filter at 20… seems to be fine now

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

I find it difficult to palm it, lacks stability in comparison to when I palm gpx

r/MouseReview— neutral

the op18k v2 will take a bit of time to get used to. It’s deceptively smaller, mixed in with how much lighter it is I found snapping and tracking off to begin with. You will have to adjust your grip and get used to the mouse’s mass but it is good.

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

it’s unbelievable how this shape can be super comfortable for me (and you). Sometimes it feels like you have nothing in your hand.

r/MouseReview▼ don’t recommend

the purple frost only lasted a year for me since the creaking just got horrible

r/MouseReview— neutral

I haven’t really played w 8k, mainly playing with 2/4k, but when i did try 8k it didn’t feel that different tbh

r/MouseReview▲ recommend

As someone who owns over 30 mice and one of them is an OP18K, I don't know is that cable at all and I'm using it pretty regularly.
