SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless

Based on 313 comments across 1 community
TL;DR
Owners overwhelmingly call this the best gaming headset they've owned, mainly for the hot-swap dual-battery system that means you never wait for a charge, great sound once tuned, and the base station that switches cleanly between PC, console and Bluetooth. The recurring gripes are a mediocre microphone (tinny, too quiet, or static for some), the clunky GG/Sonar software you often need just to get the sound right, and the ANC nub in the earcup that pokes the ear and causes pain for people with sensitive or larger ears. A vocal minority also finds the sound muddy or bass-light and the noise cancelling weaker than expected.

I went with the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and have been so much happier. Just have to set a custom EQ and you're good.

I played a lot of Overwatch and when 2 came out my headset just stopped working with it.

The Nova Pro Wireless, however, fell short for me.

Theres no way to connect the headphones to consoles other than using the 3.5mm jack to the controllers so I have a pair of steelseries arctis nova pro wireless and some astro a40 tr's for gaming.

I have finally settled in and absolutely love the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro wireless. The sound is fantastic, it has a ton of options to use and balance.

My dedicated gaming headset is the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro which comes with its own DAC and the ability to select and mix channels... so the capability is there. However I don't really use it.

I’ve tested some of the ‚high tier‘ wireless gaming headsets and all of them absolutely sucked - namely the steelseries Arctis nova pro and everything in that pricerange of 300+.

if you must have a top tier gaming headset that happens to be decent sounding...Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is IMO the closest thing.

I've got Audeze Maxwell and SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. Best two headsets I've ever owned, but of the two the Maxwell is better.

I recently tried out the new Steelseries arctis nova pro wireless, it takes so many steps backwards compared to the arctis 7 pro. The ANC was also pretty bad. Suffice to say, I returned it.

I bought the Steelseries ARCTIS NOVA PRO WIRELESS a couple weeks back and I couldn't be happier. Thanks for the recommendation. These are amazing

Als Headset würde mir nur das Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless einfallen, dies ist aber nicht Wasserdicht. Würde ich aber nicht empfehlen die sind leider meiner Meinung nach sehr Schwer.

In my case I’ve got a dell Thunderbolt dock, Logitech g pro wireless, keychron keyboard, brother printer, rode microphone, LG 175hz ultrawide, schitt dac and amp, and steelseries Arctis nova pro wireless and they all work fine.

I switched to the steelseries arctis nova pro wireless headset! Yes they are pricier but they sound AMAZING. I was even able to switch the leather-y ear cups with cups from WickedCushions 😃 DEFINITELY sensory-friendly.

I found a few things with them that I just cant stand. While I'm not saying they're bad, but from my experience, I can justify paying so much for them and getting such a lackluster experience.

The Arctis Nova Pros were pretty good, but crappy mic, and I'm just not a big fan of using Sonar to fix it

on SteelSeries Arctis NOVA Pro Wireless Headset it is a really a celebrated and useful feature to be able to change battery quickly.

Steelseries Arctis nova pro wireless: decent sound quality. Bass is slightly emphasized without being over bearing. Mid frequency is also quite good, although there's excessive emphasis is the upper mid frequency, making some sounds and vocals sounds strangely honky.

Bought £330 SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset that I cant get the most out of due to not being able to use the gg software on Linux. you need it to tune them

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless could also be in the conversation, but their ANC is not particularly strong, and I did have to EQ them with the SteelSeries GG software to get them balanced for music listening (not using Sonar). This is the most expensive one and I don’t think I felt as though it has a strong advantage except in having a lot of customiza

I used to have the Steelseries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless and those were just so bad for audio input quality (sounded like a tin can); that was the only reason I returned those and got the Maxwell.

I bought the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro wireless. Best decision I could make. Sound sooo much better, the EQ (Sonar) is a dream, Surround Sound (spatial Audio) sounds wy more nicer. I was an idiot not to buy it in first place.
