I have had a flip since June but wish I would’ve got a mini pro 4, the flips biggest flaw is it can’t rotate its gimbal and the 9:16 shorts videos arent very good quality

But the flip definitely has a niche. I love it too. If someone is a beginner and just want to have one drone, I recommend this. I do complain about the wind too though.

I just picked up the Flip and I’m honestly really impressed, mainly because the AI tracking is legit, but as a cinema drone it’s not miles better than the Mini 3 Pro.

I almost lost Flip to wind in Scotland - stressed a lot about it while my old mini 2 was resisting pretty strong winds on the seaside in Wales.

The camera quality is amazing and it comes with the smart features like active tracking and everything. Ai follow and circling wihtout using a phone or controller

Overall I've enjoyed using the flip in the short time I've had it but even a small breeze will kick it off course, so that's a challenge.

Overall: (7.2/10) Great purchase for the price and performance, highly recommend for vloggers & social media focus. However; it’s not perfect, there are real limitations based on shooting environments.

I really like my Flip. It’s easy to fly, has decent battery life, good image quality, turns on automatically when you unfold the propellers. It’s also easy to hand catch because of the props are protected.

As a solo creator who does solo adventures like hiking and biking, I went with the Flip because I could do my activities while the Flip follows me around.

This drone is perfect for beginners, travel, and content creation, and it truly gives you the confidence to keep flying farther every time.

I love my Flip, but my understanding is that its capabilities are very similar to the mini 3 so it might be kinda redundant for you

The Flip is a great small quick deployment drone. Very light weight and I do like the format with the propeller guards.

Finally I was able to use active track feature on DJI FLIP for the very first time & really impress with it!

I use mine when hiking and got exceptionally stable videos under windy conditions

I love the flip. I actually sold my mini 4 pro and kept my flip.

Today, I got the Flip, and I really liked it—as my first drone.

it's tough to argue with a drone under $500 that's this good.

It is super stable and easy to control.
