“I did mine solely to remove skin line, it doesn’t hurt my client when I stamp, but most of the time I avoid stamping. Only if I absolutely have to, I’d stamp using my t-outliner so very softly.”
“I think I must be holding mine wrong to use it when dry shaving cuz it never gets as low as it does when I’m lining myself up if I try to sweep a whole area”
“Good luck. I think you’ll like it. Andis has good YouTube videos that demonstrate how to oil it and clean it (both are really simple).”
“For the Andis in particular, I’m torn between the corded and cordless trimmers. Is the performance gap noticeable in the cordless?”
“Really depends what you’re looking for Andis if you’re looking for sharp lining up tool The tpob is more for debulking hair”
“I owned 2 pairs in highschool. I'm 39 now. And still have one of the original. I replaced the other one with a black GTO.”
“How has that worked out for you? I am thinking about buying the T Outliner for outlining and trimming as well.”
“Thanks! I ended up ordering the T Outliner and 4 guards with it from Amazon! Excited to try it out”
“That’s the only issue I heard about, and everyone said the same thing. I’m excited nonetheless”
“Ok, I did and see there is actually a tool. I usually manually do it but was asking if there was a better way and looks like there is. Just was curious if there was a better, easier and more consistent way because when I do it, it may or may not come out as a true zero cut.”
“Literally amazing 😂 No way they are 200 now😭 yeah just go t outliners for now”
“The tpob is more for balding and fading the outline is more for sharp lines. If that helps? Both service a function but depending on what it's being used for one may work better for the situation.. get both! Use the TPOB for balding and fading bald lines and the Andis for sharp lines/ line ups.”
“Definitely however the guards don't go that long (I think 5mm is the max if I recall correctly?) so if you're rocking a longer beard you're best off getting the Andis for outlining and the clipper for it's longer guards. If you don't want to do that then you could free hand your beard with the Andis, no guards.”
“T outliner, because if you want to change the blade you can just walk to your local barber supply store or go on Amazon, and if you want to get tpob blade you’ll have to pay for shipping and buy them from their website, or on Amazon and also andis is a really good reputable brand that has been in the game for years,…”
